Colourful Projects

The last week or so of the holidays seemed to rush past all to quickly and all too hot to do the things I would have like to have been doing. And I forgot to blog again.

I have the finished Stained Glass Felted Bag (weeks ago now!). It has been put to good use already and travelled here, there and everywhere. It is a good size for carrying around a decent sized knitting project without being too large. My older felted bag is much larger, but well suited to carrying my swimming gear to the pool.

The current work-in-progress is the Pinwheel Cardigan which is coming along nicely. These progress shots are from last weekend - I finished the loopy edging last night. the green yarn in the second photo is holding the stitches for a sleeve. I placed the stitches for the first sleeve on two DPNs last night and took the project to school to work on while supervising choir this afternoon. Problem was, I forgot to take any other DPNs with me. Doh! No knitting at school for me then.

And the intended recipient of this knitting recently turned three.

I asked her to smile. Clearly a mistake!
